Auto insurance

More than the minimum. A policy for the road you actually drive.

A newer truck, a teen driver or one uninsured driver can change what a “good enough” policy looks like. We will walk through it together.

Start with the limits

Georgia’s minimum is 25/50/25.
That may not go far after a crash.

Georgia requires 25/50/25 liability limits. That is $25,000 for one person’s injuries, $50,000 for all injuries in one accident and $25,000 for property damage. Renata usually suggests looking at 100/300/100, especially when there is a newer vehicle involved.

Uninsured motorist coverage

There are two ways it can work.

Renata explains both before you sign anything. Turning uninsured motorist coverage down has to be done in writing.

Added on

Pays on top of what the other driver carries. It is often worth the small difference in price.

Reduced by

Subtracts what the other driver carries from your own limit before it pays.

What I check

Your car, your drivers, your day-to-day life.

Teen drivers, roadside help and rental-car coverage are all worth a direct conversation, not a quick box to tick.
